At the end of the first season of ‘AJLT,’ fans saw a potential romance between Carrie and her podcast producer, Franklyn Hernandez.
The two share a passionate kiss in an elevator right before the final episode ends.
Of course, this could be a storyline to at least open the second season, but SJP recently shared some major news about Carrie’s love life in the upcoming season.
Aidan Goes Back To Carrie!
On Thursday, February 9, SJP shared a series of photos of Carrie and… AIDAN SHAW, played by John Corbett, kissing in the street!
Mind you, this isn’t just a finished photo post, it’s a photo dump.
A photo carousel shows them kissing and hugging each other.
He captioned the post, “This. Is. Not. A. Drill. X, SJ.”
Aidan was Carrie’s love interest throughout the “Sex and the City” series and made a cameo in the first spinoff of ‘SATC’.
SJP’s Famous Friends Can’t Contain Their Excitement
Clearly there is unfinished business between SJP and Corbett’s fictional character.
A number of her famous friends reacted with awe, shock and ‘WTF’ to the post.
His friend Andy Cohen wrote, “I’m crazy.”
Gwyneth Paltrow commented, “NO WAY.”
“MY HEART MY HEART MY HEART!!” Sophia Bush gushes.
“Please don’t play with our emotions like this on Thursday,” replied Lena Waithe.
HBO Max, the show’s streaming platform, commented, “Not a rehearsal but a dream come true.”
And clothing retailer Old Navy chimed in with, “Carrie in her Bennifer era!!!”
The second season for “And Just Like That…” was announced on March 22, 2022.
“I’m happy and excited to tell more stories about these energetic and courageous characters — played by this wonderful, wonderful cast,” showrunner Michael Patrick King said in a statement. “The fact is, we are all excited. And Like That … we Sex live again.”

Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis will return to their roles as Miranda Hobbes and Charlotte York Goldenblatt.
Kim Cattrall will most likely not return given her absence from the first season of “And Just Like That…” and her strained relationship with the rest of the cast.
