Sarah’s father, Danny Strong (born January 18, 1975), a former professional basketball player, has left an impressive legacy. Originally from Great Falls, South Carolina, he attended Spartanburg Methodist College before transferring to NC State University.
He played there until 1997 before going to professional basketball in Europe. However, after more than 15 years of playing, he retired in May 2012. He is now the founder of The Strong Center, a non-profit company that offers athletic development instruction.
