When questioned about her ability to convincingly portray Charlotte’s scenes, especially the one where she overanalyzes the rules of marriage, Davis admits that it requires skillful acting. He jokingly noted, “That took some acting, let me tell you. It worked.”
For the “And Just Like That…” star, it’s a challenge to avoid feeling stressed on days when he has to shoot scenes that involve delivering long lines of dialogue about “rules and marriage and stuff.” He reflected on those moments, saying, “I would just be like, ‘How am I going to do this and make it real and believable?'”
He openly acknowledged Charlotte’s tendency to be overly preachy about marriage, stating, “[She] is 100 percent reserved for two seasons, so it’s a stressful day. Because I want you to see the need that lies beneath.”

Although she has no experience shopping for a wedding dress in real life, the talented actress had the opportunity to choose one for Charlotte’s important scene. She recalls the process: “I must have tried on 35 Vera Wang dresses.” Jokingly, she mentions having stacks of Polaroids showcasing her in a variety of bridal gowns.
Interestingly, the dress she ended up wearing was a style she wouldn’t have chosen. He said, “The poof wins, and it’s a weird thing because it’s not my thing at all.”

I don’t have time!” Davis added, “It would have to be someone so great that I would bring him in and potentially share time with Gemma.”
