In 2023, he played the role of Suleiman “Haji” Maqbool in the Prime Video period crime thriller series ‘Bambai Meri Jaan.’

He began his acting training in 2001 at Barry John’s Imago Acting School (now Barry John Acting Studio). From 2002 to 2003, he worked at the Imago Acting School, where he also acted in street plays. He joined the Barry John Acting School in Mumbai as an acting coach in 2005 and worked there for eleven years.

- Due to dyslexia, Saurabh had difficulty reading because he was bullied at school. He once revealed that when he was in 6th grade at school, he peed his pants because he couldn’t form a simple sentence to ask his teacher to go to the bathroom.

My love for acting started in 2001, when nothing was working in my life. The woman I love has left me so I want to be famous right away. So I thought let’s be an actor. I started with modeling but didn’t like it because I was shy and didn’t enjoy walking on ramps. I joined Barry John and I understand I want to express my feelings. I am dyslexic and cannot express myself through words. From there my journey began, I played and never looked back. In 2017, I started teaching acting and got Sacred Games.”
