Savannah Chrisley refuses to remain silent as she speaks out against correctional officers at her father Todd Chrisley’s prison facility.
The “Chrisley Knows Best” star recently accused an alleged target of going behind her father’s back regarding the dire situation. Savannah Chrisley Fights For Justice Against The Prison System

The TV personality shared, “It was really hard [for them] since I started talking about everything. That was the hardest part. Especially for Dad. There is a lot of retaliation, so we have to worry [about him].”
His allegations also extended to guards discussing the possibility of draining his father’s commissary account, an action he saw as a more severe form of retaliation. According to the 26-year-old, Todd was denied an unrecorded phone call with his lawyer, a critical means of communication to discuss his situation behind bars.
While his mother, Julie, did not face the same level of targeting, Chrisley highlighted the deplorable living conditions the 50-year-old endured while explaining the mistreatment some female inmates faced from male guards to ETRachel Smith at her home in Nashville.
Despite the challenges, the “Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens” star has been vocal in her support of Todd. He shared his father’s words, “If I have to be uncomfortable in order to hope to implement and force change, then I’m willing to do it.'”
The couple, who were convicted of fraud in November 2022, are currently appealing the conviction, awaiting an appeal court decision on their path forward. After starting their sentence in January, their daughter expressed her hope saying:
“Hopefully everything will go in our favor and they will be home sooner rather than later. I know how hard I am fighting, so I hope and pray. Obviously nothing is going in our favor, so I just hope, every day, I just pray.”
‘Growing Up Chrisley’ Star Role As His Siblings’ Keeper
In September, the media personality openly discussed his financial situation, revealing an honest confession about his perception of wealth. “I’m not going to give a damn about it, I’m spending my money like it’s never going to go away. I never thought it would go away,” he admitted.
The “Unlocked With Savannah Chrisley” host explained the profound changes in her mindset that accompanied the transition to a single-income household, emphasizing how these changes have tested her character. Describing her changed circumstances, Chrisley shared:
“I think God never gives you more than you can handle. I feel like what’s happening right now is what I need to not be this spoiled, entitled to anything, because what’s happening right now is testing who I am as a human being.”
The impact of his changing financial situation is not just theoretical; he revealed that job opportunities have been limited for about a year. Despite these obstacles, he envisions an upcoming reality show that promises to be “very fun, very interesting, [and] very different.”
In a previous episode of her podcast, she also discussed her emotions, admitting to being in the “angry part of grief” and questioning whether she really wanted to have children of her own because of her sudden caregiving responsibilities.
Despite the challenges, Chrisley truly enjoys sharing special moments with the two children, whom she lovingly calls her “everything.” He shared:
“I try to be a good adult figure in their lives, but it’s really hard to be 25 and have two kids and try to figure out what’s best for them because usually you’re going to grow — like you grow from one to two to three to four. Like you can grow through the ages. Now, I’m just thrown into it.”
