Taking to her Instagram story, Savannah engaged her fans in a Q&A session that gave them the freedom to ask anything about her family. While answering a question about her parents’ imprisonment, she shared a heartwarming picture.

In the touching photo, Todd and Julie are captured in a sad mood as they sit on different armchairs holding hands in prayer. The couple were dressed in corporate attire, with Todd wearing a Tuxedo suit over a button-down shirt and matching trousers. Meanwhile, Julie wore a gray suit and matching trousers with sandy blonde hair styled in a center part.

While expressing their sympathies to the “Unlocked With Savannah Chrisley” podcaster, fans revealed how they felt about the situation.

One fan confessed, “I miss your mom and dad!” Agreeing with supporters, Savannah added, “I miss them so much, my heart hurts. Grief is hard… it hits when we least expect it. For me… it hits when I go to the grocery store and I can’t call my mama to talk about the recipe which is different and my male drama.”

Savannah continued, “For dad… it hits every time I get in my car. Every time I turn on the music. And every time I go to lunch… lunch dates are OUR thing! At least 3-4 times a week. BUT sadness is just the price we pay for love… and I will love them all day every day!”

Answering the question, the 25-year-old revealed, “We’re doing our best! I make sure that they are safe, loved and provided for in every aspect. Being a bonus parent is the hardest but most rewarding job I’ve ever had.”

She lovingly added, “I can’t express the love I have for both of them and the light they bring to my world. It’s because of them that I can face each day.”

The Atlanta native, aside from pushing for her parents’ release, has been holding down the fort at home and tending to her younger children.

In July, the podcast host took to her Instagram to explain the beauty and technicalities of parenting while praising her siblings, Grayson and Chloe, for making her responsibilities bearable. He compiled a carousel of photos taken at the beach into one video, capturing the love that exists between him and his siblings.

Adding a lengthy caption to her post, she began by writing, “What’s spinning around my world ❤.” She continued, “I’m not their mom. I’m not their dad. I’m their sister and I get to love and guide them through life. Being a bonus parent is HARD… no one can top their parents.”

Savannah continued to praise her sisters for their bravery. She added, “But these kids have shown me so much love, patience, grace, understanding, and appreciation! Helping raise these two little ones is the hardest but most rewarding job I’ve ever had.
