The parents of “Chrisley know best” are entering a strange era, and her daughter, Savannah Chrisley, decided to make it all love and adoration.
Savannah wishes her mother, Julie Chrisley, a happy 50th birthday ahead of her father, Todd Chrisley,’s prison sentence for tax evasion and bank fraud. Julie will serve seven years while her husband gets twelve years – although they will both serve an additional 16 months of probation after their release.
Savannah Chrisley Tells Mom In Sweet Birthday Message: ‘I Will Keep Fighting The Good Fight’
A note saying, “Happy Birthday to the most amazing woman I know❤️” accompanied the video she shared with her thousands of followers on Instagram. The 25-year-old spoke candidly about her hidden prison sentence in her lengthy caption which read in part:
“Mom, I know this is not the birthday we imagined, but I will make up for it. Unfortunately, we are one of many failed systems, and I will continue to fight until we all come home together.”
The video post showed various sweet moments between Savannah and Julie from their childhood, which she also mentioned in the caption when she wrote, “Thank you for being the mother every girl dreams of. For many people…you only exist in a fairy tale but for me.. YOU are the real angel of my life. You have a heart full of love and kindness.” He continued, writing:
“Mrs. You are great. You are the most beautiful woman I know. Your beauty is more than skin deep. You exude such an incredible love for humanity that it radiates from every part of you. There have been times in my life where I have hit rock bottom and you have saved me. Time and time again…you show up.”
Later in the post, he credits Julie for being a virtuous woman and loving her father “so deeply.” She stated that her mother’s character has taught her to be a “ONE KIND OF wife.” She summed up the tribute by writing: “There is nothing greater than you mama? let’s fight the good fight!.”
Julie’s stepdaughter, Lindsie, left a note under the slideshow, commenting, “We love you Mimi.” One follower wrote, “Love you more than Julie. We all fought well for you!.”
Fellow reality star Kim Zolciak-Bierman wrote, “Happy Queen’s Birthday❤️,” while another wrote, “Your mom is an absolute angel on earth. Love you both & happy birthday Julie ?.”
News of her parents’ prison sentences cast a dark cloud over Savannah. As reported by The Blast, she went on record to reveal that she “couldn’t go on” without her parents. During the “Unlocked” podcast conversation with Emmy Medders, who is also her brother’s financial child. He said:
“In my mind, I was like, ‘I can’t go on with my life until I know that they’re going to be there, I can’t get married. I can’t have children.”

The reality star described her emotions upon hearing the verdict as “grieving the loss of a living parent.” Instead, Medders encourages Savannah not to think negatively and reminds her not to give up on life because her parents are still alive.
The wailing daughter jumped in to reveal similar words from her father, namely, “I may not be here in front of you, but I am alive. I’m still fighting. You don’t have to live a day without talking to me.”
Todd And Julie Chrisley Lose Try For Freedom
As previously noted, Todd and Julie Chrisley were found guilty of fraud and tax evasion charges in June 2022 and are set to report to their respective correctional facilities this month. However, a report by The Blast details their failed attempt at a bail application.
Hoping to extend their surrender date by 21 days, the two submitted a bail appeal, but the court denied it. By January 17, the couple will begin their combined sentences of 19 years.
However, Julie will report to the Federal Correctional Institution and the Marianna Federal Prison Camp, while Todd will go to the Pensacola Federal Prison Camp.
