During an interview with ET’s Cassie DiLaura, the 26-year-old discussed his financial situation. He admitted that he used his money before his parents’ prison sentence without thinking about it. The podcaster admits:
“I’m not going to give a damn about it, I’m spending my money like it’s never going to go away. I never thought it would go away.”
She explained how being in a single-income household brought about a change in her perspective and behavior. The “Chrisley Knows Best” star later shared more:
“I think God never gives you more than you can handle. I think what’s happening now is what I need to not be spoiled like this, entitled to anything, because what’s happening now is testing who I am as a person,” .
Additionally, Savannah stated that her work opportunities were limited for about a year, highlighting the significant impact of her changing circumstances.
Despite the hurdles, the TV personality mentioned that work is ahead with a new reality show centered around her family dynamics. He hinted that the upcoming series would be “very fun, very interesting, [and] very different” from their previous performances.

Balancing responsibility for her brother and niece with the prospect of starting a family of her own has also left Savannah in a quandary. Although she hasn’t shared much about her new relationship on her podcast, The Blast reports that the actress is worried about how her nanny role might affect her.
In an episode of her podcast, “Opening with Savannah Chrisley,” she began the subject by stating, “I’m in that anger part of grief right now. I’m just angry at everything. And also, after taking the kids. I’m like, ‘Okay. Do I really want kids? Do I You know, look at how much this has affected us?'”
While admitting that his initial reaction stemmed from a “place of anger,” the realtor emphasized that he harbored no negative sentiments about taking on such an important role for the child.
She also highlighted her genuine enjoyment of spending precious moments with her two adorable children, who she considers her “everything”, before adding:
“I try to be a good adult figure in their lives, but it’s really hard to be 25 and have two kids and try to figure out what’s best for them because usually you’re going to grow — like you grow from one to two to three to four. Like you can grow through the ages. Now, I’m just thrown into it.”

Although the pair received a combined 19-year prison sentence in November last year, The Blast recently stated that they are set to be released earlier than initially expected.
It is reported that the relatives’ behavior in prison may lead to the reduction of their sentences. The outlet noted that the Federal Bureau of Prisons’ online inmate search system indicated that Todd was scheduled to be released from the Federal Prison Camp [FPC] Pensacola, Florida, on January 22, 2033.
This is almost two years earlier than the original end date for the 12-year sentence. Likewise, Julie’s sentence was shortened by 14 months, and she may now be released from Lexington Federal Medical Center on October 19, 2028.
The positive development comes shortly after their son, Chase, wrote a critical letter calling for an investigation into inappropriate behavior at FPC Pensacola. The 27-year-old previously served time in federal prison after being convicted of one count of fraud last December.
In the letter, he claimed the consistent dereliction of duty at FPC Pensacola has reached the point where it has become standard operating mode, with authorities ignoring ongoing problems.
