During a recent pre-recorded episode of the “Unlocked” podcast, via Insider, Savannah compared Shah’s verse to her parents’, criticizing its shorter length. Shah was sentenced to six and a half years, which was significantly less than Todd and Julie’s combined sentence of 19 years. He said, “Put the cases side by side, and it doesn’t make sense – it doesn’t.”
Savannah said she considers Shah’s crimes far worse than her parents did, especially because Shah left the real victims. His telemarketing scheme targeted the elderly, stripping them of their income and their homes. Meanwhile, the Chrisleys were found guilty of bank fraud and tax evasion, which they allegedly used to pay for their lavish lifestyle.
During the podcast episode, Savannah said, “There are hundreds of elderly victims, and people who are giving statements about losing their homes, threatening to end their lives. There are so many different things, and he got six and a half years. Makes sense. !”

Shah pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud and was convicted and sentenced to 78 months in prison earlier this year. According to the judgment filed in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York, the “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star is scheduled to report to prison on February 17.
According to prosecutors, Shah was the mastermind of a “nationwide telemarketing fraud scheme” that victimized thousands. After his release, the 49-year-old will serve an additional five years of probation and will undergo mental health treatment. Shah has since appealed for leniency, claiming his actions stemmed from “some painful personal experiences.”

Todd will serve 12 years at the Pensacola minimum security prison in Florida, while Julie will serve seven years at the Federal Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Following their release, the court ordered the couple to also serve 16 months of probation.
The Chrisleys first rose to fame in 2014 for their reality TV show “Chrisley Knows Best,” which portrayed them as a wealthy Southern family who uphold Christian values and morals. In 2019, their children, Chase and Savannah, were featured in the spin-off, “Growing Up Chrisley.” Both reality shows were canceled after the allegations surfaced and the parents were convicted.

Chrisley’s parents said, “None of it adds up, and to me, there’s more to it than that. I have committed myself to figuring out what it is and for us to get to the other side of this so that we can help other people who are going through something like this.”
