Braun scooters are cleaning up the music space! The entrepreneur recently acquired Quality Control Music from Pierre Thomas and Kevin Lee.
Details of the Amazing $300 Million Music Deal

Those numbers are some of the biggest the music industry has ever seen and make it clear that Scooter doesn’t play around with his coin. QCM is one of the biggest hitmakers in music right now.
The acquisition is the first step in Scooter’s acquisitions since becoming the chief executive of HYBE America in January 2023. HYBE is a mega-brand that manages big K-Pop groups like BTS. Scooter talking to The New York Times detailed the mammoth deal, saying, “QC is one of the most important independent labels in the world.” Adding, “They not only distribute music, but they also distribute culture. Their artists are the voice of their community.”
Hybe is keen to expand his musical reach, his current focus is on K-Pop but hopes to enter the American hip-hop and pop space.
Quality Control Music Has The Biggest Artists In The Game

Scooter is a genius, the music executive acquired a label that dominated the industry with artists such as City Girls, Bank Roll Freddie, Lil Baby and Migos. The record label was founded in 2013 and has been able to leverage social media to propel its artists into the stratosphere.
In total, the massive deal is reportedly worth $300 million.
They owe their success to the catchy bop of “Bad and Boujee,” by Migos, and Lil’ Baby has over 37 billion streams alone, so, yeah, they know what they’re doing. Scooter follows their lead and allows both of them to stay and run the label.

Pierre and Coach K are excited to receive guidance from masterminds like Scooter and share their thoughts and plans The New York Times. “We want to take our brand around the world and need a partner who has the same mindset as us – built, homegrown and building a company from nothing.”
Pierre went on to say, “All HYBE leaders are entrepreneurs with a track record of finding, developing and empowering their talent globally.” Executives are still worried about Migos and how the group will move forward after Departure’s departure.
They were one of the biggest money makers for the label and before Takeoff’s murder, the group was struggling and not making music together.
There is a Conflict of Interest

The only remaining issue is getting Cardi B’s husband — Offset — back with the group. As you know, the rapper is suing Quality Control for ownership of his solo music and his former bandmate Quavo is managed by SB Projects, another company owned by Scooter and Hybe.
Other large companies are also buying smaller companies in the same slick move as Scottie. Warner Music Group buys 300 Entertainment, Sony buys part of Alamo Records. It is the new norm.
