“They are friends,” the source revealed Page Six.
Scooter and Yael continued to live together after he filed for divorce.
“They’re still living together now but they’re going to take some time off and Scooter will be moving out soon,” the source revealed in July 2021. “Even though they’re separated, they have no immediate plans to divorce. Things are very good among them; they are very close. The kids are the most important thing to them and that’s their real priority here.”

Insiders say the impending breakup has been common knowledge among friends for over a month.
A source close to Yael exclusively told E! News, the couple “has been going through a tough few months and [they] decided that parting was for the best.”
“They want to spend time apart where they can each focus on their children and ease the relationship,” the source revealed. “They haven’t given up on the marriage and hope they can find a way to make it work. But for now being apart is for the best.”
