Madonna has shown her fans the rules her family follows in their home!
The “Material Girl” hitmaker, who has been protective of her children and family life, opened up about the simple rules they follow ahead of her upcoming 40th anniversary world tour.
The update also comes on the heels of news that she is romantically involved with 29-year-old boxing trainer Josh Popper. The two confirmed their relationship through a photo showing them locking lips in all-black ensembles.
Madonna Reveals The House Rules That Guide Her & Her Large Family
Although Madonna has successfully shielded her six children from the spotlight, she has recently emphasized the guidelines that influence their upbringing. To that end, the “Like a Virgin” singer posted a fierce photo showing her holding a sign with the five “house rules” while wearing a black sweater with abstract and colorful floral embellishments.
She opted for soft glam to highlight her natural beauty and let her wavy ginger hair flow over her face, with the background blurred. The Queen of Pop’s short list includes positive affirmations that encourage her and her loved ones to “smile,” “be happy,” and “listen to others.”

The list also featured suggestions to “speak well” and “be happy with what you have,” reminding the Queen of Pop’s family to remember the important things. Madonna is the mother of six children — four daughters and a son, with her eldest being her daughter Lourdes Leon, whom she shares with Apple founder Carlos Leon.
Per PEOPLE, the 26-year-old is a high-profile fashion model known for her impressive portfolio, including Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty line, Marc Jacobs, Burberry, Mugler, and Swarovski. The singer’s second eldest child is her son Rocco Ritchie who she shares with her ex-husband, Guy Ritchie.
The 22-year-old is a model and actress who founded her art gallery, Maison Rhed, a few years ago. Later, Madonna adopted her son David Banda and her three daughters — Chifundo “Mercy” James- and twins, Stelle and Estere Ciccione.
Although the process of adopting the twins was almost seamless, this was not the case when the award-winning hitmaker and the then beautiful Guy tried to adopt one-year-old David from Home of Hope, an orphanage in Malawi, in 2006.
The former couple faced legal challenges because they were expected to live in the country for at least 18 months to become residents because residency is required for legal adoption. The adoption was finally approved on May 28, 2008, and the mother and son pair have developed an incomparable bond.
Speaking about the relationship she and David shared, Madonna once stated in a 2019 interview, “[He’s] I have the most in common. I feel like he got me; he has more of my DNA than any of my children so far.”
