Gomez posted a final little teaser on the morning of August 24, which showed her walking into a room and with her little sister, Gracie’s voice playing in the background, saying, “I love you, Sissy. Don’t worry about a boyfriend, at all!”
We have to admit, that’s good advice from Gracie for sure…
Gomez’s new song is the perfect club number for a girls’ night out, and if we’re reading Barbie tones in it, you can’t blame us. It’s also the most personal thing since Gomez’s love life has been everyone’s business since she and Justin Bieber finally broke up. While Bieber went on and married Hailey Baldwin in a rather tumultuous romance and courtship, Gomez has been linked to various men since then.
After dating TheWeeknd and then rumored to be involved with Charlie Puth, there was also talk of Gomez going out with Zayn Malik and Drew Taggart of The Chainsmokers.
It seems that Gomez also took inspiration from her own TikToks she made about being single, as the lyrics go:

At the time of writing, Gomez’s song is only an hour old on YouTube, and it’s already racked up 287,000 views, with her friend Miley Cyrus’ “Once Young” lagging behind at 236,000 – also less than an hour long.
Not only did fans love Gomez’s song, but they were also happy to see her looking so radiant in the song as she rocked a sparkly purple top and then got dressed.

With this song, it looks like Gomez has made another declaration that she’s single and okay about it — and that all the names she’s been linked to recently are just casual dates on her part. In her lyrics, she also declares she’s high maintenance, poking fun at her own TikTok video she made in June!
The video shows him at a soccer match, covered in blankets and he yells at the soccer players, “I’m single! I’m just a little high maintenance, but I’m going to love you so much.”
