Selena Gomez has announced that her fans will be getting a new single from her soon!
The actress and singer revealed the news in a recent social media post, which has garnered more than half a million likes in less than 30 minutes.

Gomez has informed her 429 million followers of her plans to release a new song, more than a month after she declared she would choose acting over music.
For the big update, she posted a photo of her album cover showing herself in an all-white ensemble consisting of a robe, a towel wrapped around her head and white-rimmed glasses covering her eyes.
She was seen posing on a balcony with a beautiful blue water background. The casual holiday mood of the image was also accompanied by a stress-free caption that read:
“Wait until I turn my love on. Pre-save my new song ‘Love On’ out 2.22.”
“SOOOO EXCITED!!! we’ve been waiting for this for a long time, you don’t know how happy we are right now ? love you so much,” one Gomez fan page expressed excitement in the limited comment section.
Another fan account echoed, “Caaaaant wait omg. We’ll be streaming,” while a third declared, “We’re so d—n ready Selegend,” and a fourth claimed, “So excited to see you back again. We’re ready to stream it.”
As mentioned above, it’s easy to understand why her Instagram followers are eager for new music from Gomez since the “Only Murders in the Building” star has previously shared her preference for acting.
During an appearance on the “SmartLess” podcast in January, she shared, “I feel like there’s another album in me. But I’ll probably choose acting.”
Despite encouragement and praise from the podcast’s hosts — Jason Bateman, Will Arnett and Sean Hayes — Gomez remained steadfast in her desire to rest, stating, “But I want to rest because I’m tired.”

Amidst her plans to take a break from music, the “Wizards of Waverly Place” actress explained that her man, Benny Blanco, gets all her attention. She proved that when she uploaded a few photos to Instagram, starting with a look at her lover taking care of her nutritional needs.
In the image, she is seen posing in the kitchen preparing a tray of what appear to be meatballs. Blanco wasn’t alone in the kitchen though as his girlfriend took up space behind him, placing a hand on his shoulder and flashing a delicate toothless smile at the camera.
The second photo captures Gomez sitting on her boyfriend’s lap in a nude-toned dress that highlights her cleavage. As she leaned against Blanco with a small smile and closed eyes, he held her chest and kissed her shoulder.
The pair, still wearing the same outfit, reappear in the third slide — and this time, the “People You Know” performer is seen between her man’s legs, playfully sticking out her tongue. A busy Blanco showed his own affection by pulling his girlfriend closer with one hand behind her back.
For their final fight, Blanco planted a kiss on Gomez’s cheek from behind as she leaned against the counter with her face turned to a side profile.
“My bes fwend,” the “Lose You to Love Me” hitmaker wrote under the sweet slide. In addition to getting millions of likes, the post received a handful of comments from viewers, with one stating, “you two are so cute together,” and another exclaiming, “love this so much!”
Actress Ashley Park also expressed her approval, typing, “best friend ❤️ so happy for you my love.”
