Not so fast—the “Rare” singer’s Instagram carousel, posted on Tuesday, featuring Gomez in a bridal gown, was just for show! Apparently, Gomez’s “Only Murders In The Building” character, Mabel, is headed to the altar in season three!

The cozy mystery Hulu original series has been generating a lot of buzz since its Summer 2021 premiere; “Only Murders In The Building” was nominated for 17 Emmys at last year’s Emmy Awards and took home three statues!
The frenzy for the show is on display in behind-the-scenes photos of the cast!
In addition to Gomez’s relaxed bridal photo set, her legendary co-star Steve Martin posted some sweet photos of himself and Gomez posing together in their wedding glory, as well as a photo of Gomez and Martin Short commemorates Mabel Mora’s big day!

2023 Gomez Has Been Defined By Her Alleged Years-Long Feud With Hailey Bieber

When Gomez isn’t making headlines for her award-winning TV series, her name is often found alongside one Mrs. Hailey Baldwin-Bieber.
The 26-year-old model and Rhode Skin founder was first linked to Gomez in the media after she started dating Gomez’s boyfriend in 2018. Bieber and Baldwin were linked when they were seen hanging out together during the period when Bieber and Gomez were dun-zo.
Gomez and Bieber broke up for good in 2018, and the “Yummy” singer married Baldwin just months after her final split with Gomez.
The two women have spent years trying to deny rumors of a rift, but the speculation has only been raised in the past few months.
Although Mrs. Bieber has repeatedly denied that she harbors any ill will toward the Rare Beauty founder, social media seems to believe otherwise.
Last month, rumors began to swirl when Jenner posted an Instagram story that shaded the look of her eyebrows. The timing of Jenner’s Insta-stories is somewhat questionable; Gomez had posted a TikTok where she had over-layered eyebrows not too long before Jenner’s photo.
Bieber entered the chat via a second Insta-story slide posted by his friend; Jenner tagged Bieber in a screenshot of the two’s FaceTime call that featured a close-up of Bieber’s eyebrows!
Gomez and Jenner quickly tried to put out the speculative fire. Both women denied any bad blood between them, but the internet wasn’t convinced.
Shortly after ‘eyebrow gate’, an old and allegedly out-of-context clip of Bieber expressing his distaste for Gomez’s best friend Taylor Swift began circulating on TikTok. Gomez would later defend the “Bejeweled” singer in the comments; after receiving a storm of attention, Gomez took a short break from social media.
Internet workers will soon start digging up old Bieber tweets praising Gomez and Bieber’s relationship and discussing interesting comparisons and similarities between them. Among them are similar tattoos and media related to their respective cuisines.
Many incidents have inspired their respective fan bases to keep referencing the other in countless Instagram photo comments.
Bieber’s Instagram content will be overshadowed by references to Gomez until March, including his birthday tribute to his husband. His followers will also chastise Bieber for “posting with [her] comments are open” (via The Blast) in a subsequent unrelated Justin post.
Negative Comments On Bieber Intrude On Gomez’s Wedding Dress Photos
Gomez posted two photos of herself hanging out between takes wearing the dress. While many of her followers were blown away by the glitz, glamor and sweetness of seeing Gomez in a wedding dress, some Bieber references were thrown in.
“Waiting for Haily [sic] to post the same,” one follower commented.
“I bet this picture has three times as many as them [sic] Haley’s actual wedding photo [laughing emoji],” commented another.
“Hailey is coming with her wedding post,” one follower chimed in.
“Now it’s Hailey’s turn to put on a white dress and boots and post it on Instagram [laughing emojis],” said another follower.
“Waiting Haley [sic] to copy this,” commented another follower along with several laughing emojis.
One follower expressed their belief that Gomez had copied Bieber by wearing a wedding dress.
“Selena is desperately imitating Hailey with this. Because Hailey got married in 2018!!!!! why are people so stupid???”
“justin is punching the air rn,” another follower speculated.
“Hailey wishes she had some Selena Gomez talent, but no, she’s just the wife of a… acquaintance…,” wrote another follower.
As of this writing, the Biebers have not publicly addressed the alleged feud; However, Mr Bieber is believed to have cryptically addressed the speculation earlier this month. (via The Blast)
