A beloved father of six died suddenly after collapsing on the floor while helping move his son into a dormitory at Arkansas State University over the weekend.
Jeremy Tillman, 45, of Russellville, Arkansas, had a “very sudden medical event” at the university around 10 a.m. Saturday, his fiancee, Elizabeth Goodson, 39, told KARK.
“He came through the door and he was in obvious distress,” Goodson, 39, said. “I think he might be too tense.”
Tillman is helping his son, Jace Tillman, move his belongings to campus ahead of the fall semester.
The car dealership worker was found not breathing on the floor with foam “pouring” from his mouth, Today reported. Emergency services performed CPR on Tillman and used a defibrillator to restart his heart.
He was taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center. Bernards, where he died.

The grandfather of two got engaged to Goodson at the end of June in Peru, where he proposed to her at Machu Pucchu. She plans to wear her engagement dress to her funeral, which is Wednesday.
Her fiance remembers her for her intense love, telling KARK: “She had her own children and children that weren’t biologically hers, and she just accepted everyone and loved them as her own so much so that she was loved by all her children. .”
Tillman would always try to attend all of his children’s events, Goodson said.

“Jeremy is an understanding parent,” Goodson told Today. “Despite working full-time and part-time at home, he rarely misses an important event, and he always makes time for movie nights, backyard soccer, or tug-of-war. He shows our children how a man should treat a woman, and how to mean your word.
“He was selfless, and always worked hard to make sure everyone had what they wanted and needed, often to the detriment of himself. He loved all of our children, and was an example of what a man and father should be.”
Tillman’s daughter, Hannah Brazil, took to Facebook to write a touching tribute to her father, saying: “Our father was a respected and loving man who always put his family first, and never stopped putting a smile on the faces of everyone he interacted with. by.”
