There’s a lot to unravel in Christine Quinn’s unexpected marriage as her husband, Christian Richard, is currently behind bars for a domestic violence incident.
Things went south in the life of the “Selling Sunset” alum on Tuesday evening when authorities and medical personnel rushed to the couple’s LA residence.
Now, Quinn has been issued an order of protection against Dumontet, leaving people to wonder if the breakout season will claim its next victim.

According to law enforcement sources, Quinn has been granted an emergency protective order against her husband – an arrangement she reportedly accepted and will enjoy the benefits of for the next seven days.
The protection order came after Dumontet’s arrest, which saw him being led away by barefoot police wearing nothing but a white bathrobe.
He was taken to jail and booked for assault with a deadly weapon in connection with what allegedly happened inside his home.
Authorities were alerted to the domestic violence incident on Tuesday, sources said TMZ there was a verbal altercation between Quinn and Dumontet. In her recollection to authorities, the reality TV star accused her husband of throwing a bag full of glass at her.

Although Quinn escaped injury from her husband’s attack, their 2-year-old son was not so lucky. The bag Dumontet threw allegedly missed his wife and hit the little boy, also named Christian.
The insider said 911 was called after their son’s injuries, with an ambulance joining authorities at the scene. Christian was reportedly treated at the scene; however, the first respondent thought it would be better if he went to the hospital.
The little boy was then taken to hospital by ambulance, with sources stating that Quinn joined him. As for criminals, Dumontet is still in jail on $30,000 bail at the time of this report.

The domestic violence incident was surprising for many reasons, as Quinn and Dumontet seemed like a couple.
Their romance made little waves on “Selling the Sunset” because the reality TV star’s lover was behind the scenes, but their wedding in 2019 was documented on the show.
Although Quinn is a famous TV personality, her lover comes from a tech background and considers himself an entrepreneur. Despite coming from two different worlds, there is little to no drama between the pair on TV; however, recent events say otherwise.
It remains to be seen if this case of domestic violence will turn into a full divorce or if the couple will get through this challenging phase as a united front. To date, neither Quinn nor Dumontet has addressed the situation.

Quinn also claims that her former co-star Chrishell Stause’s career took a significant turn after she began a relationship with Jason Oppenheim, co-founder of the Oppenheim Group.
