Shabbir Ahmed is an Indian Bollywood music composer and lyricist. Shabbir is famous for the song Teri Meri from the movie Bodyguard and was nominated for Lyricist of the year at the 4th Mirchi Music Awards. Apart from this, he has worked in several films as a lyricist such as OMG- Oh My God, Bol Bachchan, Khiladi 786, Bullet Raja, Special 26, Kick, Genius, Dream Girl, Street Dancer 3D, Baaghi 3, KGF Chapter2, and Khuda Haafiz 2 and others.

Career

Shabbir Ahmed started his career by making his debut with the action drama film Garv as a lyricist where he has written three songs Hum Tumko Nigahon Mein, Fariyaad Kya Kare Ham, and Tere Hai Deewane Dil. Later he worked in KS Adhiyaman’s romantic comedy film Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya Yaar, where he penned the lyrics of the song Deewane Dil Ko Jaane Na. Later, Shabbir worked in the comedy film Apna Sapna Money Money where he wrote the songs Dil Mein Baji Guitar and Saanya Badnaam.

Shabbir had written all the songs of the romantic comedy film Kya Love Story Hai and then he moved ahead and the lyricist of the title song of the film Welcome. After that, Shabbir wrote the title song for the fantasy comedy film God Tussi Great Ho and also wrote the song Tujhe Aksa Beach Ghuma Doon.

Shabbir later appeared in the action thriller film Wanted and is the lyricist of two popular songs Le Le Mazaa Le and Tose Pyaar Karte Hai. Moreover, he has written the most popular song Dilbar in action crime film Satyameva Jayate which crossed 1 billion views.

Later, Shabbir made headlines for penning the song Dholida for the romantic comedy film Loveyatri. In the movie he wrote all the songs like Rangtaari, Chogada, Tera Hua, Akh Lad Jaave etc. Shabbir worked at Dream Girl where he wrote the hit song Ik Mulaqqat. After that he worked in KGF Chapter 2 where he wrote the popular songs Toofan Mehbooba, and Sulthan.
