Shailene Woodley is getting more candid about life after her engagement to Aaron Rodgers.
The couple secretly got engaged during the pandemic and the Green Bay QB announced it during his acceptance speech for the NFL MVP Award at NFL Honors in 2020.
While accepting the award for “Most Valuable Player,” Rodgers said, “2020 has definitely been a crazy year filled with a lot of change, growth, some amazing and memorable moments. One hundred and eighty days in a row of my nose hair being shaved, plans to very little or no fans all season, I was engaged, and I played some of the best football of my career.”

Unfortunately, their relationship and engagement did not last long due to several factors.
The pair have “agreeed to disagree” on controversial subjects, such as Rodgers’ vocal opposition to the COVID-19 vaccine. An insider told PEOPLE that “they fell hard and fast, but it was a mismatch from the start.”
Another major point of contention during their relationship is their different and busy work schedules.
Woodley opened up PORTER Magazine about how her personal relationships play into her latest project, “Three Women.”

“It was difficult to film because I was going through the darkest, hardest time of my life,” the actress admitted. “It was winter in New York, and my personal life was a mess, so it felt like a big sick bubble for eight months.”
Filming on “Three Women” begins in fall 2021 and ends in May 2022.
Woodley didn’t directly name her ex-fiancé, but it’s worth noting that the couple’s split was confirmed in February 2022.
“I’m so grateful that at least I can go to work and cry and process my emotions through my character,” Woodley explained.

He “found a lot of comfort and inspiration” from the show’s writer and producer, Lisa Taddeo.
“I’ve always loved getting older, but it’s almost like I feel like I’m holding my breath,” she explains. “I’ve waited so long to experience not giving a f**k about what other people think about me and my life and the choices I make.”

Woodley added in himself PORTER Magazine interview, “I’m so excited to continue to let go of so many things that controlled me in my twenties; to really experience the joy of life in a way that, when you’re young, is harder to experience – because it’s governed by how you were raised rather than the identity you create as your own person.”
