Shakira has finally let the dirty laundry surrounding her ex-partner, Gerard Piqué, and his new girlfriend, Clara Chia Marti, be aired higher than a cloud in the sky.

We reported yesterday that the Colombian singer will sit down with Mexican journalist Enrique Acevedo with the Canal de las Estrellas news station.
Ahead of the interview, Acevedo wrote on Instagram, “I am happy to share with you that tomorrow on Canal de las Estrellas news, we have a preview of our exclusive conversation with Shakira. We went to Barcelona to talk about his music and lyrics, what he’s going through in his career, and what’s next in his life.”
The interview aired on February 27th and it did NOT disappoint.
Piqué and Shakira called it off in June 2022 due to the retired footballer’s infidelity.
He immediately started a relationship with his Kosmos employee, Marti (23), shortly after they announced their separation.
It was rumored that Marti was the woman he cheated on with Shakira, but it was never confirmed.
Shakira admits that she has learned a LOT since separating from her partner of almost 12 years.

Since the breakup, she realized she could be completely “independent” after accepting “the story that a woman needs a man to be complete. I was always emotionally dependent on the man I fell in love with, and I thought I could understand that story from another perspective, and today I am quite alone.”
Shakira continued, “There’s a place in hell reserved for women who don’t support other women.”
You may remember that the “Hips Don’t Lie” singer found Piqué cheating (allegedly with Marti) on her from an opened jam jar.

He immediately knew that his children and Piqué did not eat strawberry jam, so his suspicions that someone had stayed in their house while he was gone grew stronger.
Not to mention, the jam was eaten.
Shakira alluded to the incriminating evidence in her music video for “Te Felicito” featuring Rauw Alejandro.
The title of the song translates to “I Congratulate You” in English. Shakira congratulates a male character for being a good actor in the song.
Despite the deception, mistrust and lies, Shakira told Acevedo that she “came out stronger” after facing the “battle of life.”
“When a woman has to face the battle of life, she becomes stronger,” Shakira said.
Shakira’s focus is solely on her two children, whom she shares with Piqué, and being a “lioness” for them.
“The strength comes from experiencing a painful loss, accepting it, tolerating disappointment, understanding that life doesn’t always bring us what we want,” he explained. “There are dreams that are destroyed, and you have to pick up the little pieces from the ground and put yourself back together and also be an example to my children.”
