Shamili Sukumar was born on 10 May 1991 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Since childhood he was very interested in the life of an actor and always wanted to be an actor. After completing his studies from the University of Madras, he devoted all his time and effort in creating his acting career.
Career
Shamili started her acting career from the age of 20, she first appeared in the Tamil soap opera Thendral. This series revolves around the main character Thulasi, who was abandoned by her mother when she was a child and for money, since then her family has shunned her, especially her father and stepmother. She then appeared in several television serials such as Uthiripookkal as Megha, Vani Rani as Teju, Pasamalar as Mallika and Ponnunjal as Revathi.
She has also worked as Princess Kalaivani in Romapuri Pandian, a historical novel about the Pandian king Peruvazhuthi who tries to establish relations with the Roman Empire.
She gained popularity for acting in the Tamil daily soap opera Roja starring Priyanka Nalkari and Sibbu Suryan in pivotal roles. Shamili appears as Priya, Roja’s classmate in Anbalayam who has hated her since childhood.
