The former Miss USA and the teenager have had a fairly well-publicized fight with each other. But lately, it seems that everything is fine between them as they have found a fun and low-stress way to spend quality time together.

The reality TV star has always been open about her love for her children, Atiana De La Hoya, from her relationship with boxer Oscar De La Hoya and London and Alabama with ex-husband Travis Barker.
For a while, things were considered difficult between him and the children with the alleged absent parent. However, all that seems to be over, judging by the star’s latest post to her Instagram story.

Despite their busy schedules, the couple has chosen to bond over their love of video games. Moakler took to his page to post a photo of the 17-year-old sitting in a pink and white striped pajama set on a couch.
With huge headphones on her head, she makes a peace sign at the camera, covering her face. His mom wrote across the image, “I made him a gamer ??? @alabamaluellabarker.”
The 47-year-old has been open about his long-standing penchant for gaming and even posted a tweet with a picture of himself with the console as early as 2019. He tweeted snap and declare, “I love to play ?.”
The love between them seems genuine, as Alabama has taken to posting about her mother on social media after not doing so for a long time. In a recent Instagram story, she shared a video of her mother sitting at a table with an open laptop.
She wrote in the caption, “@shannamoakler Mom looks so bad even at a meeting.” Her mother later reposted it with the caption, “Love you @alabamaluellabarker.”
The young star recently tried to set up the “Dancing with the Stars” alum with a new girl. Since she has been single for some time now, her daughter Alabama is taking matters into her own hands.
The Blast shared that in a recent video, Moakler revealed that he was trying to set her up with a new romantic interest. Expressing her glee, the model took to her Instagram story to reveal that her daughter had taken her phone and was texting random guys on Instagram.
Looking more agitated than annoyed, she said, “My daughter kept taking my phone and writing randomly on Instagram. He found a freak at the grocery store and texted him from my phone. Bama, I’m good, I’m good.”
It’s still unknown who Alabama has in mind for her mother, but it’s nice to see a mother-daughter relationship where both are comfortable discussing such personal matters.

After media outlet Perez Hilton published a story claiming that the couple had broken up, “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” guest star took to Instagram to set the record straight.
The article featured a photo of the mother and daughter with a caption implying that they were once again at odds, which Moakler vehemently denied. “My daughter and I are not estranged,” Moakler emphatically wrote on Instagram. “Wtf is this garbage,” she wrote above the screenshot, adding, “we’ve been friends for years, I thought you were just going to text me.”
He also shared a recent photo of himself with his three children, emphasizing that he has always been a dedicated and responsible parent. The mother-of-three was undeterred in her response to the criticism, telling her haters to “shame on you all for trying to shame me.”
