In a touching Instagram post, the former beauty pageant shared a photo of the late brunette beauty holding a giant fish and smiling proudly. Standing on the deck with the boat anchored behind him, he wore a long-sleeved waterproof jacket over what appeared to be a collared shirt as he clutched his prize.
Capturing the image, Moakler wrote, “I have to brag about my mom tonight… Portuguese pride!! He kicked ass in the fishing group…. Besides, she is very beautiful….” Then in the lower right corner, she emotionally added, “I miss her.”

Although Shanna’s world was shattered when she received the news of her mother’s passing, the former Miss New York USA took to her Instagram Story to commemorate the bittersweet occasion of her birthday following her death.
Sharing a vintage photo of her parents locked in an intimate embrace, the actress expressed her heartfelt wishes, writing, “Happy Holidays in heaven, Mom. I wish we could go to Ricotti, sit on the deck, have a screwdriver[.] see the birds and listen to The Bee Gees.”
The “Joey” star also let fans see their last conversation by sharing candid screenshots of their text exchange. The message began with Gail writing, “We should get snow today or tomorrow. I’m kind of looking forward to it [.] I like snow.”
As the December 2001 Playmate of the Month answered, her mother expressed physical and mental satisfaction, sharing that she was in “such a good place right now.” The late parents declared their love before ending with a heartfelt “I love you, baby.”
The model echoed her mother’s sentiments, to which Gail responded by emphasizing how much Shanna means to her, stating, “I need my girl [.] you mean so much to me you don’t know. I am very proud of you. I’m so proud to be your mama.”

The late mum rocked her jeans, accessorised with a black top with sleeves and a white collar, while little Shanna radiated joy in her sleeveless dungarees. The post was an instant hit with fans, who sent the “Pacific Blue” star love and support during what they admitted was a challenging day without his biggest supporter.
One fan declared, “Wonderful memories for two very beautiful women! She is now your personal “angel” ?️.” Another sent a virtual hug, acknowledging the emotional struggles of the day, while a third wrote, “Sending you so much love and hugs today!!! The “Bridalplasty” host also took to her Instagram Stories to share the latest, highlighting her daughter Atiana De La Hoya’s tribute to her grandmother. In a series of heartfelt reposts from the 24-year-old’s page, the first features a younger Atiana pointing at the camera as the “Due South” star looks on lovingly.
The photo featured the couple posing in front of a piano, accompanied by the caption, “Happy Mother’s Day, beautiful mama.” Shanna later shared another repost from the new model, which captured the appearance of the three women – Gail, “Punk’d” guest star, and Atiana.
The trio appeared to be at the special occasion, with the “Price Is Right” celebrity judge wearing a white and green dress adorned with a floral wreath while her daughter wore a white christening gown.
