The “Bewitched” star revealed that she experienced “miracle” results during her latest treatment, noting that her persistence to keep trying led to positive results.
“I won’t tell you what it was, I got a new cancer infusion, and after four treatments, we didn’t see a difference, and everyone wanted me to switch, and I was just like, ‘We’re going to stick with this and see,'” shared Doherty. .
He added, “And yes, after the sixth or seventh treatment we actually saw it break the blood-brain barrier. Would I call that a miracle? Yeah. To me, that’s become a miracle now. That I kind of rolled the dice and said, ‘Let’s let’s move on.’”

Doherty excitedly stated that such success must be attributed to divine intervention, adding that “God” wanted to give him a break.
The actor said, “And it actually breaks the blood-brain barrier. That’s actually the miracle of the drug, a miracle maybe God stepped in and said, ‘I’ll give him a break.’ Sometimes you’re looking for magic in all the wrong places, and it’s right in front of your face.”
Speaking realistically, Doherty noted that he could “die” at any moment but emphasized the importance of looking at things optimistically, adding that there is always “hope.”
“Every day is a gift, and there are so many new things in the works that I think hope is always there. I think it’s very important,” he shared. “Listen, I could die today, I could die in 20 years, I don’t know. I could die walking outside my house and a tree falls on me or a bus hits me, whatever. Or I could die of cancer. But what I can do is go through each day as positive as I can and accept it and feel like, ‘Wow, I can wake up again today, what can I do?’
Doherty continued, “I believe that the positivity you bring into your life, I think it helps with your whole body. I think it helps you fight cancer. Think about that a little bit.”
Shannen Doherty Declares She’s ‘Not Done With Life’

During an interview last year, the “Beverly Hills 90210” star said that she was “not done living” and planned to “embrace life.”
“I haven’t finished living. I’m not done making love yet. I haven’t finished creating. I’m not done hoping to change things for the better,” said Doherty People magazine.
The actor continued, “When you ask yourself, ‘Why me? Why did I get cancer?’ and then, ‘Why is my cancer back? Why am I stage 4?’ which leads you to find a greater purpose in life.
She is optimistic about her chances of beating the deadly disease and hopes to use her voice to raise awareness about cancer while also helping to raise funds for research. “It’s crazy to me [that] we still don’t have a cure,” he told the publication.
Doherty then talked about his last brain surgery, jokingly naming the removed tumor “Bob.”
He quipped, “He had to be taken out and operated on to see the pathology. It was definitely one of the scariest things I’ve ever been through in my life.”
