Cancer isn’t stopping Shannen Doherty from living her best life!
The “Little House on the Prairie” actress, who is battling brain and breast cancer, took a break from her ongoing treatment to jet off to Italy for a vacation with friends.
The much-needed vacation came after he revealed that he underwent surgery to remove a tumor, confirmed to be brain metastases, from his head.

Doherty’s cancer diagnosis and treatment seemed to be the last thing on her mind as she danced and enjoyed drinks with her friends during lunch on Monday in Nerano, Italy. On Monday, the “Charmed” actress was photographed wearing a black one-piece swimsuit with red pants, stylish sunglasses and a stylish fedora hat.

The 52-year-old was also seen laughing idly with her male friend while enjoying a boat ride, according to Page Six. As mentioned above, this holiday follows the superstar’s earlier revelation this summer that her breast cancer had spread to her brain.
Announcing the devastating news, the “Beverly Hills, 90210” star shared a clip of herself preparing for radiation therapy, after receiving the devastating diagnosis in January. He shared via caption:
“January 12th, 2023. On January 5th, my ct scan showed the Mets in my brain. Yesterday’s video showed the process of putting on the mask you wear during radiation to your brain. January 12, the first round of radiation took place.”
After pointing out that “the fear is clear,” Doherty added, “I’m very crowded, and there’s a lot going on in my life. I’m lucky to have great doctors like Dr. Amin Mirahdi and great technologists at cedar sinai. But the fear…. Turbulence…..time is everything….This is what cancer looks like.”
Upon seeing the video, many fans took to the comments section to express their support and admiration for her courage to share her challenges openly. One fan said, “Thanks for sharing; you are a superpower! It must be scary! Hope you can feel the strength and love your fans give you.”
Referring to her recent divorce from her third husband, Kurt Iswarienko, a second person commented, “You are a brave and strong woman. Heartbroken your husband betrayed you? Keep fighting your cancer. Sending love and best wishes to you.”

Amidst her health struggles, the actress faced divorce proceedings that began in April after she expressed her desire to end her marriage to Iswarienko and began legal proceedings.
In a statement released by her representative at the time, the star stated that while divorce was the last thing she wanted to do, her ex-partner had left her “with no other choice.”
He further claimed that the photographer and his agent were “intimately involved.” As for the divorce filing, Bravo winner Otto listed the month of separation as January and cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.
Following the divorce news that turned into headlines, the “Highway to Heaven” entertainer wrote a message that many of her fans believe has something to do with the incident. He states, “The only people who deserve to be in your life are those who treat you with love, kindness, and complete respect.”

Finally responding to the divorce filing last month, Iswarienko listed their wedding date as October 15, 2011, meaning they had just completed 11 years of marriage before the devastating split. Unlike his ex-wife, the cameraman skipped listing the date of their separation and checked the “yes” box on the attorney fees and costs he and Doherty split.
The end of the Marriage shocked many fans as they expected it to be the “happily ever after” their favorite Hollywood stars always wanted. Just before she walked down the aisle with Iswarienko, the “Sleeping with the Devil” alum highlighted the seriousness with which she took her third wedding vows.
She said, “Marriage for me is such a huge commitment that it’s not something I’m going to take lightly anymore. I’ve learned my lesson.”
