Sharad Malhotra was born into a middle-class family on 9 January 1983 (age 36; as in 2019) in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He attended school in St. Xavier’s Collegiate School, Kolkata to pursue his B.Com (Hons). She has been interested in modeling since childhood. At the age of 20, Sharad won the “Face of the Year- Kolkata” contest.

Career
Sharad started his career with the TV series “Princess Dollie Aur Uska Magic Bag” where he played the role of ‘Prince Goldy.’ After doing his first series, he took a break for 4 months and went to the New York Film Academy, Los Angeles to acquire acting skills. In 2006, he made a cameo in “Kabhie To Nazar Milao.” In the same year, he won the role of “Sagar Pratap Singh,” a mentally challenged person, in the TV series “Banoo Main Teri Dulhann.” His character is very liked by the audience and became a popular name after this.

Next, he auditioned for the role of “Maharana Pratap” in the historical show “Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap.” Sharad auditioned 5 times before being selected for the role. He also learned martial arts and horse riding after being selected for the series.
