Shared parenting goals! Sharna Burgess supports her boyfriend, Brian Austin Green, and his ex-wife Megan Fox for letting their son have long hair.
The Australian ballroom dancer became part of the “Transformers” actress’ life following the debut of her relationship with her Tennessee ex-husband. Last June, the couple welcomed their first child, a son named Zane Walker.
The toddler marks the “Beverly Hills, 90210” star’s fifth child as she previously welcomed three boys with Fox and another child from a different relationship. A common feature shared by the children is their long hair, a style the choreographer adopted for his babies.
When trolls called out the mother of one for allowing her son to sport an unusual hairstyle for boys, the “Dancing With The Stars” alum applauded without hesitation.
Sharna Burgess Calls Out ‘Narrow-Minded Ignorant’ Fans For Judging Her Son’s Long Hair
During a fiery Instagram Story update, the 38-year-old dancer expressed her frustration with people giving their unsolicited opinions about her blended family. Her strong comments answered fans’ questions about her child having long hair like her other boyfriend’s children.
“Are you going to let Zane’s hair grow long like his brothers?” The individual asked during the Q&A session. Filming herself lounging outdoors in a cane swing, the TV personality revealed that she has received similar questions since debuting her son’s topknot.
“I also get a lot of this at the moment, especially since the top knot. I had a few people in my DMs who were really mad at me for doing that,” Burgess revealed. “I had someone comment on the fact that her hair tie this morning was pink.”
Responding to fan questions about her son’s hair, the “Burn the Floor” star stated she’s not against letting Zane look like Green and Fox’s son. According to the Australian beauty, she doesn’t understand why people distinguish between men and women by certain colors or traits.
“I really let that beautiful baby hair grow. Um, yeah, I don’t understand it’s like pink is for girls and I put a pink hair band on her to symbolize anything,” the choreographer continued. “I don’t think this whole long hair thing is feminine for girls.”
Showing how masculine men thrive with long hair, Burgess quotes “Aquaman” star Jason Momoa. According to the mother of one the majority of men and women find the Hollywood heartthrob attractive despite his shoulder length hair.
Promising to do a post on the long-haired sexy male entertainer, the media personality added: “Also like the cover of a f**king romance novel. They all have long, flowing hair. It’s like it’s wild to me all this stuff that when it’s kids, it’s like we’re pushing some agenda on them.”

“It’s really stupid king,” the 38-year-old concluded his applause. However, Burgess’ rant didn’t end there as he slammed the trolls in the video’s caption, writing:
“Sorry for my rant to the person who asked this, so don’t be angry [at] you, just get mad at narrow-minded idiots and their stupid comments.”
Megan Fox was previously shamed by her mother for letting her son grow long hair
Burgess’ passionate response to haters about her son’s long hair came in support of her boyfriend and Fox. Years before welcoming a son with the “Knots Landing” actor, the father of five and his ex-wife were attacked for their children’s looks.
The Tennessee beauty got the worst backlash and was shamed for letting her son dress in a way that a boy wouldn’t accept. One of these incidents happened when her two children, Noah and Bodhi, were photographed on the beach with long, flowing hair.
“If you want a girl so badly, why don’t you try to adopt or have more children? Let your boys be men,” one fan blasted Fox with another writing: “Dear baby, they look like they’re wearing wigs!”
Despite the backlash, the “Jennifer’s Body” star and her ex-husband have declared they will not enforce gender roles on their son. The mother of three also insisted in an interview that “you can be whatever you want to be in my house.”

As for parents, the Scream Award winner had the perfect celebration for them in 2018. During a conversation with a source, the entertainer quipped: “I let my kids wear what they want! They will tell me what they are. It’s not my job to teach them that.”
“I think it’s illegal, honestly, to shame a child or a mother for what a child is wearing… in 2018,” lamented Fox, noting she didn’t believe her children’s hair and clothing would be fodder for debate.
