Hollywood legend Sharon Stone has revealed the name of the producer who allegedly wanted her to sleep with his movie star.
The actors previously discussed the incident in a 2021 memoir without revealing their identities. In his recent revelation, he also dropped the name of the co-star and the film, along with the name of the producer.

During her appearance on Louis Theroux’s podcast, Stone opened up about the time she claimed a producer asked her to sleep with a co-star.
Narrating the incident, the 66-year-old said it happened on the set of “Sliver,” a 1993 American erotic thriller based on Ira Levin’s novel of the same name.
At the time, his co-star, William Baldwin, better known by the nickname Billy, reportedly performed poorly during filming. For this reason, film producer Robert Evans believed the issue could be resolved if Stone slept with the actress.
“[Evans] called me to his office. He had a very low seventies, eighties couch, so I was basically sitting on the floor when I should have been on set,” Stone said, according to Daily Mail.
She added, “And he ran around his office in sunglasses explaining to me that he slept with Ava Gardner and I should sleep with Billy Baldwin because if I slept with Billy Baldwin, Billy Baldwin’s show would be better.”

According to the actor, Evans felt that s– would generate “chemistry” on screen between him and Billy and then “save the movie.”
He went on to say Evans blamed him rather than Billing, claiming that he had stated that “the real problem with the film” lay with him.
As for the reason, Stone said Evans blamed it on him because he was “uptight” and “so unlike a real actor who can just… [Billy] and get things back on track.”
Evans’ request did not sit well with Stone. He recalled that before filming began, he had prepared a list of suitable actors for Baldwin as Zeke Hawkins. Even though it was part of his contract, they ignored his suggestion.
“I don’t have to f— Michael Douglas. Michael can come to work and know how to hit that mark, and do that line, and rehearse and show up,” Stone said, referencing his “Basic Instinct” co-star.
“Now, all of a sudden, I’m in the ‘I need to f— people’ business.”

Stone discussed the incident earlier in her 2021 memoir, “The Beauty of Living Twice.”
At the time, he stated that all he could think of to comply with Evans’ request was Billy’s consistent low performance from the beginning, noting that he “couldn’t pull off a whole scene in the test.”
“Now you think if I meet him, he’ll be a good actor? Nobody’s good in bed,” reads an excerpt from the book. “I think they could hire a co-star with talent, someone who can deliver a scene and remember his lines .
It further read, “I also feel they can pull it out themselves and leave me out of it. It is my duty to act, and I say so.”
According to Stone, his response caused him to be considered “difficult” by Evans and the cast. Ultimately, Sliver ended up collecting $280 million at the box office upon release, although this was considered below initial expectations.

Stone’s statement came after he celebrated his 66th birthday with friends and family.
Taking to Instagram, she shared a highlight from the celebration when she was serenaded with the birthday song.
In the video, Stone can be seen wearing a silver long-sleeved top and baggy shorts that stop just above her ankles. She completed the outfit with a pair of shoes.
“There is no greater joy than true friendship. Thx for a great night,” Stone captioned the post, which has since garnered over 21,000 likes.
Later, Stone shared a carousel of photos from the event, featuring her posing for the camera with her guests. Fans sent their birthday wishes for both posts to celebrate the veteran actor.
