Sharwanand debuted in the Telugu film industry, also known as Tollywood, with the film ‘Aidho Tareekhu’ (also spelled as ‘Aidho Thareku’) in 2004.
In the same year, he appeared as ‘Vijay’ in a comedy-drama film titled ‘Shankar Dada MBBS,’ which was a remake of the Hindi-language film ‘Munna Bhai MBBS’ (2003). In 2008, he played the role of ‘Abhiram/Abhi’ in the road movie ‘Gamyam.’ Sharwanand appeared in many other films such as Nandu in ‘Andari Bandhuvaya’ (2010), Raja Harishchandra Prasad in ‘Run Raja Run’ (2014), Karthik in ‘Sreekaram’ (2021), and Chiranjeevi “Chiru” in ‘Aadavallu Meeku Johaarlu’ (2022).
