Sheen and I acted together in the TV show Piyaa Abela. We were good friends then. In October last year, we had a reunion and met again. We share many similar interests and during our conversation I realized that Sheen is also interested in animal welfare. When I told him about Disha’s dream project, he expressed his desire to be a part of it. He also met Disha’s mother during one of the welfare programs we organized in Spetember last year. Our friendship grew stronger and it reached a point where I could express my heart about everything that happened. He was the only person I could talk to, and the way he helped me pull myself together, I felt like he was a god. We are very close and look forward to a fulfilling friendship.”
