Career
He started his career in 2002 by featuring in the music video ‘Kaanta Laga’. The song was a huge hit and Shefali gained huge popularity. Later, he appeared in other music videos including- Kabhi Aar Kabhi Paar Remix (2002), Maal Bhari Aahe – DJ Hot Remix (2004), and Pyar hamein kis mode pe le aaya (2006). He did a cameo in a Bollywood film- Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (2004). In 2008, she participated in Sony TV’s dance show ‘Boogie Woogie.’ In 2011, she appeared in the Kannada film- Hudugaru. Shefali participated in the 5th season and 7th season of the celebrity dance reality show, Nach Baliye, with her husband, Parag Tyagi. She has appeared in two Hindi web series- Baby Come Naa (2018) and Booo Sabki Phategi (2019). In 2019, Shefali entered the Bigg Boss 13 house as a wild card contestant.

I was in college at the time and I came from a family of academics, so my parents told me to focus on my studies. But I want to do it because I get paid for it. I earned Rs 7,000 from the song, and I wanted to see myself on TV. My father was very much against it. So first, I convinced my mom and then, we both convinced my dad. And the song turned out to be such a hit that it was like a fairy tale for me. It changed my life completely.”
