Shia LaBeouf continues his journey to find God with a deeper commitment!
According to new reports, the actor has officially joined the Catholic Church and reportedly aspires to become a deacon despite facing accusations of emotional and physical abuse in the past.

The Capuchin Franciscans – West American Province announced on Tuesday that LeBeouf had “fully entered the Church this past weekend through the sacrament of confirmation!”
The announcement, which was made via social media and accompanied by three images of the superstar posing with priests and pastors, stated:
“The Franciscan Capuchin brothers were very happy to welcome him into the group and witness his deep commitment to his faith journey. Shia LaBeouf, known for his extraordinary talent and passion in the entertainment industry, has embarked on a deep spiritual journey that has led him to embrace the teachings of the Catholic Church.”
The group added that the “Transformers” star’s decision to fully enter the Church is evidence of his sincere desire to grow in his relationship with God and practice Gospel values.

Rodriguez revealed that LaBeouf had considered becoming a deacon since his involvement in the 2022 film “Padre Pio,” in which he portrayed 20th-century Italian priest Francesco Forgione. He had spent time in a California parish preparing for the role.
In Rodriguez’s words, “He just spontaneously said, ‘I want to be a deacon,’ and he still feels that way.”
Highlighting LeBeouf’s new faith, The Blast reports that he echoed his endorsement sponsor’s comments when he revealed that this transformation happened during his research for his role as Saint Padre Pio.
As the former Disney star explained, she struggled with inner demons – feeling as if her life was “on fire” and draining her of the strength to continue acting – during her research for the biography. In fact, he had thought of committing suicide as a way to escape the turmoil in his life.

LaBeouf admitted that he realizes there is still hope for him despite how he has treated some people in the past, possibly referring to the abuse allegations leveled against him in the past.
