Shiv Pandit was born on 21 June 1984 (age 39; year 2023) in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. He was educated from Doon Public School, Dehradun and graduated from Hindu College, Delhi. Because of his father’s government job, Shiv spent most of his childhood in different places like Nagpur, Dehradun, Karnataka and Delhi. Since his college days, Shiv was interested in acting and actively participated in various stage shows and also worked as a theater artist.
Shiv is a part of various commercials like LG, Colgate, Airtel, Tide, Sprite and many more. In 2008, he hosted the first edition of the show ‘Extraaa Innings T20’ for the Indian Premier League (IPL). Shiv is also a state level football player. He is the co-owner of the cricket team ‘Chandigarh Cubs’ which competes in the Box Cricket League (BCL) along with actress Anita Hassanandani. Shiv has also hosted shows like Studio Disney and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa (season 3). He is often praised for taking on challenging roles.

Career
In 2004, Shiv made his debut in the film industry with the English film, Let’s Enjoy. Then she appeared in the Hindi film Aagey Se Right in 2009. However, she got her big break with the film ‘Shaitan’ in 2011 (an Indian Crime Thriller). He has been nominated for the Filmfare Award, Best Debut of a Young Star Performer, and the Screen Award for his film Shaitan.

In 2011, Shiv was ranked 3rd in Times of India’s ‘Most Promising Newcomer’. In 2012, Shiv was offered the lead role in the Tamil film ‘Leelai.’ Since then he has not looked back. She appeared in a supporting role in the film “Boss” in which Akshay Kumar played the lead role. He was also seen in films like “Desi Boyz,” “Roy,” and Shivaay where his sister Gayatri Pandit was the assistant director. Shiv is the lead actor in the 2016 Bollywood Thriller, 7 Hours To Go, also starring Sandeepa Dhar and Varun Badola.
In 2015, Shiv starred as the lead gay character opposite Dhruv Ganesh in the Netflix film Loev, directed by Sudhanshu Saria. The film won the AT&T Audience Award in the Frameline Film Festival and the Audience Award for Best Feature in the Tel Aviv Film Festival in 2016.
