Shocking video shows a coordinated group of carjackers force a driver out of his Audi at gunpoint and leave him lying in the middle of a Chicago street as other cars drive away.
Newly released footage shows an Audi A4 stopped on a four-lane road with its headlights on as two other vehicles approach from the other direction — turning to trap the Audi by blocking it in front and behind.
At first, the Audi rolled forward as the 27-year-old driver desperately tried to escape, but within seconds, at least three men jumped from surrounding vehicles — with at least one pointing a gun at him.
The targeted driver was then dragged out and thrown to the ground as the group “displayed a gun and demanded the victim’s vehicle,” Chicago police said.
An attacker was seen tying the driver’s hands behind his back, leaving him face down on the road as others entered his car.

Chicago police confirmed that they are still looking for about six suspects in the shocking crime that happened at the intersection of West Wabansia and Northwest streets around 3:20 a.m. on September 2nd.
“No injuries were reported, no offenders are in custody and [detectives] is investigating,” a spokesperson said.

The Chicago Police Department deals with “a huge amount of crime every day” in the Democratic-run city, authorities complained to the Daily Mail, which highlighted footage of the carjacking.
In fact, the carjacking happened on the same night eight people said they were robbed in just 30 minutes in the same neighborhood.
The suspect is described as a black male between the ages of 17 and 23, who was wearing a mask and hoodie, according to CWB Chicago.
They were seen getting into a dark-colored sedan, as captured on surveillance footage.
No arrests have been made in any of the cases.
