Shrikant Verma is an Indian actor who mostly works in the Bollywood film Industry. He is famous for portraying Babulal PA in the comedy film Furkey Returns. Apart from this Shrikant has also appeared in several web series like Breathe: Into the Shadows, both seasons of Mizapur and Panchayat. Career
Shrikant gained popularity with his performance in the 2013 Anushka Sharma starrer Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola as a journalist. He later acted in various Bollywood films like Chor Chor Super Chor, Ankhon Dekhi, Dum Laga Ke Haisha, Kadvi Hawa etc.
Later, in 2017, he made headlines for his performance in the comedy film Fukrey Returns as Babulal, produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani.
Shrikant received great appreciation for his performance in the web series Breathe: Into the Shadows as Jai Prakash alongside Abhishek Bachchan and Amit Sadh. The plot of the series revolves around how far a father will go to save his daughter.
Shrikant has also worked in the most popular web series Mirzapur as Mamaji.
Shrikant is also a part of Deepak Kumar Mishra’s comedy drama web series Panchayat which airs on Amazon Prime. The story of this serial is shot in a real panchayat office located in Sehore village of Mahodiya district, Madhya Pradesh.
