Shruti Ranjan, (age unknown) was born and raised in Delhi, India. She also goes by the name Shruti A Kumar. After completing his primary and secondary education, he received his BSc from Miranda House in Delhi and then continued his studies at the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay. After that, she completed RTT Practitioner training through the Marisa Peer School and then through the Reiki Divine Healing Foundation.

Ekta Kapoor congratulated the couple on her Instagram story, while Nakuul Mehta wished them “eternal togetherness.” In the comments section of the post, Sumeet Vyas, who shot to fame on TVF’s Permanent Roommates, congratulated the newlyweds. “Congratulations to both of you Arunabh @arunabhkumar, I’m looking forward to the celebration,” replied Anup Soni. Shruti met Arunabh Kumar while studying at IIT Bombay for her master’s degree. Arunabh and Shruti first met in 2003, when he was just starting his TVF journey. Kumar and his friends were shooting in a college, and since his film had a very low budget, he asked people around him to participate, which is how Shruti met Arunabh. Arunabh tells the story of how they first met as,
We met at IIT Bombay where Shruti was pursuing her MSc in Environmental Science and it wasn’t our love for acting that broke the spirit but our discussion of Environmental Science and Meditation. He started dating me when I had no money, no job and no one knew me but he always stood by me. After, being diagnosed with partial blindness in my right eye due to depression, I actually started to see things more clearly and what was most important to me. As I raced against my hospitality to create comic books and guide the team at TVF, we both decided to make our bond official. I thank God and my team at Indusverse & TVF that the completion of my comic book, the success of my company’s latest Panchayat Show and my engagement, all came together.”

After almost seven years of dating, the couple confirmed their engagement in 2020. The wedding was also scheduled to take place within a few months, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it proved difficult to do. In response, Shruti Ranjan stated,
It is a difficult time for all mankind now. Everyone goes through this together. People always motivate each other by staying positive and that’s what we do too. We are looking for the silver lining which is our upcoming wedding and spending our courtship planning the special day.”
Career
Since 2014, he has been a professional photographer. He has taken photography classes from experts like Jaideep Oberoi, Vickram Bawa, Rohinton Irani, Nrupen Madhwani, and Swapan Mukherjee. Shruti Ranjan found her love in photography while working on Arunabh’s statue. He allegedly introduced her to a camera he owned, and she then began practicing with it. When he talked about it, he said,
I remember going to see him in his office then and thinking that it would be a proper work area instead of an empty store room like space. But it doesn’t bother me. I realized he was a struggling entrepreneur and it inspired me. I discovered my passion for photography through him after I found a DSLR in his house. He introduced me to Tracy in his office and I started helping him with Photography projects and found my calling. He has been through a roller-coaster in his life but I have always believed in him and will continue to do so.”
