She gained popularity with her role in Diya Aur Baati Hum, an Indian television soap opera aired on Star Plus. Diya Aur Baati Hum focuses on breaking the stereotypical image of women in rural India by showing the inspirational journey of Sandhya Rathi, who aspires to become an IPS officer.
She also appeared in the television series Ek Duje Ke Vaaste 2 as Anjali Tiwari. The story revolves around Shravan Malhotra, a spoiled and undisciplined civilian teenager, sent to an army school where he meets Suman Tiwari, a disciplined and ambitious girl from a military family and later they both fall in love.
She was greatly appreciated for portraying Kavita Pathak in Mithai alongside Debattama Saha, Aashish Bhardwaj, Kervi Udani and Nisha Jha. The show is a remake of the Bengali television series of the same name where Mithai is a girl full of life, while Siddhartha is serious, intelligent and selfish.
