She did her schooling from DPS RK Puram and went to National Institute of Fashion Technology, Delhi to pursue her studies in Fashion Communication. He often visited to watch plays with his parents from where he got his interest in acting. He decided to become an actor from a very young age. When Tripathi was in her final year of college, she attended many acting workshops. She works as a photo editor for Femina Magazine. He also used to cut trailers at the Pixion trailer house before entering the world of acting.

Career
Shweta started her acting career in 2009 with Disney Channel’s “Kya Mast Hai Life” where she played the tomboyish character, Zenia Khan. After that, he appeared in “The Trip” on Bindass. Next, he appeared in the film “Zoo” which was India’s first full-length feature film shot entirely on iPhone. After that, he appeared in the crime thriller web series “Mirzapur.”
In 2015, she made her film debut with “Masaan” where she played the role of Shaalu Gupta. Shweta, later, featured in the film “Haramkhor” opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
