Arrested for allegedly taking drugs
Siddhanth Kapoor was arrested for allegedly taking drugs at a rave party on the night of June 12, 2022 after the Bengaluru Police raided Hotel Park on MG Road in Bengaluru.

The surprise raid was carried out by 25 police officers, who arrested six people including Siddhanth Kapoor. In an interview, Deputy Commissioner of Police Dr Bheemashankar S Guled confirmed the news and said,
It is confirmed that Bollywood actor Shakti Kapoor’s son Siddhant Kapoor is taking drugs. He was found positive for drugs in the blood test report. Therefore, he was taken to the Ulsoor police station.”
Further, he said,
Siddhanth Kapoor claims drugs were mixed in his drink and he didn’t know about it. He told the police that he had been to Bengaluru many times to attend parties as a DJ. This is the fourth time he has gone to the hotel where he was arrested. We have got the guest list and suspicious people will be called in for questioning.”
Siddhanth was charged under sections 20A, 22B, and 27B of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
On 14 June 2022, he was released on station bail. In an interview, when asked about her son’s arrest, Shakti Kapoor said,
I came to know about this news from India Today. I don’t have any idea. I know nothing about this. When I woke up at 9 am, the news came that he had been arrested. I do not know. The whole family tries to connect. No one picked up the call. I don’t know what happened.”
