“There are so many types of women, and most of them are not portrayed on screen to be as attractive as women can be. as diverse, and as extraordinary,” Weaver told the publication.
“For me, women are the ones who keep the planet together. I reflect what I see, but I’m excited to play a role like Ripley,” she added.
“I felt it was my ‘Henry V’ because there were no roles like that for women in theater or film. So, I was lucky enough to work with Walter Hill, David Giler, and Ridley Scott and be able to tell the truth about Ripley.”
