While talking to Sun in a previous interview, Cowell’s ex-girlfriend Sinitta revealed that the eight-year-old followed her father around and only allowed him to “huff” his cigarettes. “He [Eric] followed him and only allowed Simon to smoke a cigarette,” he said. “He always said ‘how many puffs, how many puffs.’ Eric is like the little cigarette cop and keeps him on his toes,”

Sinitta, Eric’s godmother, stated that Cowell not only smokes but producers have been caught vaping several times. The “Cross My Broken Hearts” artist says the talent show judge doesn’t consider herself an addict and claims she can quit whenever she wants.

“He doesn’t see himself as addicted because he says he can cut back whenever he wants,” she said. “He probably smokes one cigarette, maybe two a day. But what he did was light a cigarette and smoke a stick and put it out – he did it several times during the day.”
