Biles has been married to fellow athlete Jonathan Owens for three months, since April 22, 2023, but she misses him dearly.
Given the couple’s busy careers, they don’t get to see each other as often as they’d like, and the phenomenal gymnast can’t help but be open about it to her fans.

Biles had trouble doing long distance with her husband after he went to the Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin, for the NFL preseason. She recently talked about her situation in an Instagram Q&A session when a fan asked, “How often do you see your husband?”

In response, the 26-year-old athlete admitted, “When he was in Houston, every day!!!!! But he is in green bay now.” He added that he would only be able to see him briefly after one of the upcoming matches. In his words: “It will happen in 1 of 3 preseason games but right after that… like 35 minutes.”
Speaking more about the long distance, Biles revealed that she and Owens have talked to find out when she will see him again. While he didn’t say when that would happen, he explained, “Long distance is tough & both being a professional athlete is tough… for our schedule…”
Die-hard Biles-Owens fans will remember when Biles signed with the Green Bay Packers in May, prompting him to leave shortly after the couple’s brief honeymoon.
The Olympic gold medalist was not happy with the development but saddened that her husband separated from her so soon. Expressing her feelings, she took to her Instagram Story at the time with a sad picture of herself in a car. His eyes were puffy, and his normally perfect hair was a mess.
Biles captioned the post explaining her sad appearance: “I was shocked this morning when Jonathan left for Green Bay.” He also stated that he was “a mess.” Saying goodbye to her man was a lot different than how she reacted to his signature.
The NFL star joined the Packers as their newest safety on May 12. As expected, he proudly announced the news on Instagram, using a snap to highlight his move to his new team. In the image, the former Houston Texans star is captured signing his transfer paperwork with his devoted wife by his side.

There was also a lovely photo of the couple wearing team jerseys and posing for a photo on Green Bay’s Lambeau field. Celebrating the achievement, Owens captioned the post, “A new beginning. The perfect cover for an amazing week. Let’s go to work. Year 6 on the way.”
Biles wasted no time supporting the former Arizona Cardinals player by reposting the same photo on her Instagram, including an adorable photo of the two showing off their wedding rings. Taking the caption, the happy partner wrote, “A little interlude of wedding content to say GO PACK GO. So proud of you, baby! Here’s to a fresh start! Year 6! LFG!”
Joining the Wisconsin-based team is a big next step for Owens, who entered the NFL in 2018, serving as an undrafted free agent, after which he joined the Houston Texans.

Biles went on to share about their last disagreement, saying: “Our last ‘feud’ was about Espy lmao. If you have to show up to win or not.” While this may be funny to her fans, the couple’s friends also find it funny, according to the celebrity.
Highlighting what the lovebirds were arguing about, she wrote, “We’ve been fighting over LeBron James, Keke Palmer, hahaha aha. Stupid things always.”
