Simone Biles & Jonathan Owens are on their way to tie the knot for the second time but in a more elaborate way!
The couple, who are legally married for the first time in the United States, have jetted off to attend their destination wedding at an undisclosed location.

The Olympic medalist, who usually engages her fans on social media, updated them on the process ahead of their departure on Thursday for their destination wedding. Biles took to her Instagram Story to post a series of clips, showing herself and her new husband having fun on their way to their mystery location.
The gymnast shared a look as she and her beau headed to the airport in a luxury Sprinter van. In one of the clips, Owens looks more polished, wearing a black hoodie and matching sweatpants paired with a pair of white & black sneakers.
The new wife captioned the post, writing, “& we’re off @jowens ??.” Meanwhile, the following clip reveals the stunning athlete next to her handsome man.
She wore a white hoodie and matching sweatpants and her black hair was styled in a center part. Looking very excited about the destination wedding, she had a big smile on her face. Celebrating their moment together as newlyweds, the lovers sipped champagne and cheered on their new beginnings.
Biles and Owens continued their celebration at the airport as the gymnast toasted her uncle Paul, who will be their officiating minister at their second wedding.
Biles revealed in the caption, “Uncle Paul, aka will be the best officer you will ever see.” The gymnast shared the snap with her followers to reveal that the pair had landed safely at their destination. He posted a picture of Owens dressed in a white T-shirt and dark colors, enjoying the clear blue sky.
The Olympic medalist previously let her fans know more about her upcoming wedding destination. Biles gave her fans an audience through her Instagram Stories during a Q&A session with them.
During this session, she informed her fans about one of her extensive rules regarding her big occasion. Coincidentally a fan made a request that read, “Ask any of your wedding guests if they need a plus one. I love wedding season.”
Responding to this request, she firmly stated that she did not want any new faces to appear on her special day.
In the words of Biles, “Unfortunately, because we want it to be as friendly as possible, we don’t allow plus 1. I know this is very controversial, but I always meet people every day & I love that & all of you, but on my wedding day , I don’t want to meet new people.”

However, one Biles fan wasn’t having any bad words and slammed the critics, writing, “Simone Biles is one of THEE best gymnasts we’ve ever seen, has overcome abusive situations and other obstacles in her childhood, has defined her success and found love and now happily married…And you all worry about her hair….?!”
Touched by her supporters’ comments, Biles responded to her fans’ tweets and applauded her critics.
She wrote, “I think they also forgot I live in Houston, Texas & I was sweating!! Once we got out for a photo.” He added, “But they can keep complaining idc idc idc.”
