Simone Biles shed more light on her possible return to the Olympics, but without the certainty of her participation in any competition.
With his next event coming in 2024, the famous athlete spoke about the topic during a sit-down on “The Late Late Show With James Corden” while also touching on the subject of his upcoming wedding.

The show’s host, James Corden, wanted to know what Biles wanted in the 2024 Olympics, whether she was in or out, and the possibility of her competing. He replied:
“I think right now, I still need to recover mentally and physically, so I will be in Paris. I don’t know what role, if it will be an athlete or a member of the audience, so we will just have to see.”
Corden then recalled a conversation about the idea of the Olympics having “ordinary ordinary people” chosen by each country to participate in sports, dressed in everyday clothes, before the professionals took over. He believes it will show the world how tough sports can be, which Biles agrees with, adding that spectators are known to judge athletes, so it’s a good idea.

Speaking of the Olympics, during the Tokyo 2021 event, the decorated gymnast made the difficult decision to withdraw from the competition for the sake of her safety and mental health. This got a lot of attention, and later that year, she told ET that she’s had “an incredible amount of love and support from an outpouring of fans, family.”
Biles feels lucky to stay in her position and has had so many people reach out, convey their love and respect to her. He also told the outlet that the gesture shines “a new light on the sport and ourselves as not just athletes, but as human beings.”

About a year after she pulled out of the Tokyo Olympics, The Blast reports that she had an emotional conversation with Hoda Kotb, revealing the reason behind her fear of gymnastics. The 25-year-old suffered from “twisties”, which kept him out of the sporting event in Tokyo, and while he headlined the Gold Over America Tour with other icons, it didn’t feature any on-air twists.
He attributed the confusing state to his mental health issues, which occurred while he was on the air. And unfortunately, the struggle has dragged on past the 2021 Olympics making her afraid to do gymnastics. While talking to Corden, Biles also talked about how her upcoming wedding plans are coming along, which is all she’s been talking about.

She shared, “I have an amazing wedding planner. Bachelor/bachelorette parties are being planned. Everything is on time. I’m probably almost too ahead of the wedding thing right now.” The seven-time Olympic medalist also revealed that she tried on some of her wedding dresses and other items in Los Angeles, which was “very exciting.”
Corden asked again if she was going to do any “acrobatics” as she walked down the aisle, but she said “no.” This led the presenter to admit that if he had the ability, he would definitely perform. The 25-time World Championship medalist wasn’t too fond of the idea as she pointed out that her nails and hair would be done, and there would be a veil.
