Simu Liu has a new leading lady in his life!
The actress appears to have found love again less than two months after her last relationship with “Senior Year” co-star Jade Bender ended. The former couple have spent time together taking part in various activities, including turning heads at the 2022 ESPY Awards in July.
Their last public appearance was a date night at the “Bullet Train” premiere in early August. Now, the “Shang-Chi” star is showing off her new baby, Allison Hsu, to all who care to see, and she’s got a Santa joke too.

Over the weekend, Liu took to Instagram to make things social media official with Hsu. The couple looked cozy in their best ugly Christmas sweaters. While the “Legend of the Ten Rings” actor opted for white chinos, his girlfriend styled a skimpy gray skirt and knee-high boots.
The pair were all smiles as they posed on the red carpet of the 2022 comedy “Night of Terror” premiere. Liu’s post, captioned “pictured: two Asians in front of santa’s crotch 3,” was met with hundreds of approving comments, including one from actress Olivia Munn, who said, “Cuuuuuute [green and red heart emojis].”
Journalist Melody Hahm proved she was way ahead by coining a couple name for the duo, “Allimu. Silly. Need this workshop.” A disappointed fan exclaimed, “Nooooooooo!!!! Are you officially off the market????” and a second added, “Good time to change my wallpaper on my Apple Watch but I’m so happy for you.”
Some other female fans wanted to know if Hsu “could fight” for her man. The 26-year-old received a similar backlash when she posted a loved-up photo of her and her beau last month. In the image, the lovebirds – who have attended a BLACKPINK concert – look cozy, with Liu wrapping her arm around her new boo, who looks delighted as she holds him.

Simply captioning the photo with a smiley face, Hsu’s Instagram post received some love from her followers and her man, who wrote, “Omg can’t believe I got a photo with that girl from PopCrave,” in the comments.

Hsu’s involvement with the cast of “Kim’s Convenience” has raised some questions about who he is. Fortunately, the answer to that can be found on a Forbes page highlighting his role as a senior manager in Interscope Records’ Digital Marketing department.
In her capacity as manager, Hsu handles social and digital work for industry heavyweights such as Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, Holly Humberstone and Finneas O’Connell, among other Interscope talent.
A look through the digital marketing manager’s Instagram feed reveals snapshots of her from a world tour, a series of photos of her with her family and close friends, and a handful of photos of her having fun at music festivals, including Lollapalooza.

Liu opened up about her breakup with Bender during an interview in the most unlikely place – Dreamforce, a leading technology conference at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater in San Francisco. The Blast shared that the “One True Loves” star was prompted to talk about the breakup after Salesforce executive VP Jody Kohner asked her about her mental health.
Kohner’s interest in the conversation was spurned by Liu’s mental health updates on social media about starting therapy. He began by asking, “How are you today?” The “Bachelor Asia” actor replied, “I’m OK, I’m OK. I am learning to put myself first; I became more comfortable with the idea of therapy and a support system.”
The Chinese-born Canadian stuntman later confirmed his breakup with Bender, stating, “I’m going through a breakup too. That might also contribute to it, but that’s okay; I’ll be fine.”
The confession was met with a sympathetic response from the audience, including other Hollywood celebrities such as Jennifer Hudson, Matthew McConaughey, Laverne Cox, and Jane Goodall.
