Perrie Edwards is recovering after a home invasion that happened while she, her fiance, and her son were home.

The Little Mix frontman and his fiance Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain were targeted in a home invasion this week. Most shockingly, the couple were at home with their 13-month-old son when burglars broke into their property in north-west England.
Edwards, 29 called the police but the damage had already been done. The robbers allegedly took expensive items such as jewelry and designer handbags from their exclusive home. Now the singer and her family are said to be “scared,” and “heartbroken.”
Edwards and Oxlade-Chamberlain live in a $3.5 million estate in Cheshire said to be among many other wealthy stars.
Perrie Edwards’ Friend Releases Statement

While detectives are now busy sifting through CCTV footage in the hope of finding clues that lead to an arrest, Edwards and a friend of his fiance’s family released a statement to Sun.
“It is the most violating thing — to think that someone has taken all their possessions before they realize what happened is very annoying,” they shared.
“The audacity to do that while they were in the house was terrifying, and they were obviously sad because so many valuable things that meant so much to them — not just financially — had been taken.”
The family was clearly shaken but more than that, they felt as if their perfect home was now tainted. “This is their dream home and they love their life there as a family. Suddenly felt scratched,” the friend continued.

The singer and her soccer player boyfriend are relying on the local PD to solve the case and hopefully recover some of their belongings as they want the sentimental items back. Materialistic things do not worry them both.
Police confirmed that the break-in occurred at approximately 10:45 p.m. “The offender broke into the home and stole jewelry and handbags while the occupants were inside.” A neighbor shared their concerns about this latest break-in.
“This is a very quiet street and a lot of residents have very good security, so it’s quite scary these thugs still feel comfortable enough to barge in – especially when people come in. It must be scary.”
Perrie Edwards & Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain Have Had a Tough Year

The singer and her fiancé are going through personal ups and downs this year. Oxlade-Chamberlain joined Liverpool from Arsenal in 2017 and was sidelined with a knee injury for a year with no return negotiations taking place.
Edwards has just finished his last tour with his Little Mix band members. The girl group decided to take a “forever hiatus” and Edwards was supposed to focus on her upcoming solo project.
