Tiffany, who became famous for her cover of “I Think We’re Alone Now” in 1987, took to her Instagram to share details of a recent car accident.
The 51-year-old is still making music and releasing new albums nearly four decades after performing at the mall to promote his first self-titled album and regularly maintains an active Instagram account.
Tiffany’s posts are usually upbeat and chronicle the “Could’ve Been” singer’s adventures on the road, but her latest post is more somber; he thanked his fans for reaching out after being involved in a car accident in Nashville last week.
Local Nashville News Describes Car Crash Potentially ‘Major Accident’
Local Nashville news outlet WKRN reported that Tiffany’s car accident was shared with the outlet’s parent company by a representative.
It read, “Last week, Tiffany was driving [Interstate-65] when a tire from a truck rolled across the highway, hit his car, and got stuck under the driver’s side.” A rep for the “All This Time” singer told the outlet the car’s transmission was completely torn apart, and the vehicle sustained damage on both sides.
In addition to her Instagram post, Tiffany shared her thoughts in the statement.
“I’m lucky and grateful that a big accident could happen,” the musician said.

Tiffany posted a photo of the sky featuring heart-shaped clouds, and in the caption, she wrote, “Thank you to the angels above… and thank you to everyone who reached out to me after my car accident.
