The patriarch of the Brown family said, “One day our family’s civil war may end, and then the insult, you know, we can deal with.” However, the 54-year-old insists that a resolution cannot happen without his wife, declaring he will not give in to his children’s disregard for Robyn. In Kody’s words:
“You will not separate us. They want their father, but they don’t want Robyn. That won’t work. Robyn and I will be like this. We will work this out. And that is the relationship we will find.”
“My life has changed a lot, and it’s interesting because I don’t feel like a polygamist anymore,” Kody said of his relationship with Robyn. As for her bond with her ex, the TLC star hinted there’s nothing out of the ordinary like her current romance, saying:
“I haven’t been to Janelle’s house in 10 months. I don’t know what’s going on almost half the time with Meri’s life. Now that I’ve had all this time that Robyn and I, we’ve had, sort of, this special life together.”
Kody may see Robyn as the apple of his eye, but his ex-wives, Janelle and Christine, support their children’s narrative. Both believed the entertainer’s wife had a negative impact on their family following her marriage to the polygamist in 2010.
