Kody Brown has decided to stick by his fourth and only wife, Robyn Brown, claiming she’s the only one who gives him butterflies in his stomach.
The reality star, who welcomed the cameras into his home as he navigated life with four wives under one roof, has been facing various domestic problems for the past two years. With three “Sister Wives” gone and a messy and impossible attempt to save the day, the end of a plural marriage has some painful information emerging.
Kody Brown Says He’s Only Always Liked Robyn Brown
The 54-year-old revealed that he and his last wife, Robyn, share a closer bond than in his other marriages.
She admitted this in the first episode of the new season of “Sister Wives One-on-One” special with Sukanya Krishnan adding that she had never felt love before her marriage to the 45-year-old. Despite being married to Meri, Christine, and Janelle Brown before Robyn, he said:
“I fell in love with Robyn, I never fell in love with anyone else. I just chose to be in love with them.”

Kody also described how it felt to meet Robyn saying, “I met Robyn, and there was a security and a vulnerability that I’ve never experienced in my life. And I met him and I started crying for joy and didn’t stop for months.”
For Robyn, Kody’s feelings have only recently become clear to her, and she didn’t know all along. His main concern is trying everything he can to keep the family together. Robyn explains:
“I’ve done my best. I don’t know what else I’m supposed to do. But I’m doing my best not to be something that hurts them. I’ve always suppressed and hid my relationship and any kind of relationship I had with Kody.
However, some sister wives are able to see through Kody, as Meri confirms that Kody and Robyn have always had a “soul connection,” and she’s really happy about it. The 52-year-old just hopes it doesn’t happen at the expense of the whole family, adding:
“I think everyone should have it. I think it’s unfortunate that other family members have to go to the side of the road to get it.”
Kody has also expressed his guilt for not feeling strong emotions for three other women in the past. He also acknowledged that polygamy was an “institutionally unjust lifestyle,” but that women had the choice to choose their husbands, and they did.
Amidst the drama, Christine and Janelle have become best friends after the reality star’s split. This development allegedly made Kody jealous, according to Christine, who added:
“He probably already understands what it’s like to be a sister’s wife. Here you go buddy. This has been the case for 26 years. Take off your blindfolds and look and see how we are.”

In a promotional clip for the rest of the special episode, Kody describes Christine as a “sister wife,” adding that “She could, and I hope, be a very good wife for David.”
Kody Brown Has Drawn The Curtain On Reconciling With His Separated Wives
Before his latest revelation, the 54-year-old declared his intention to dissolve his plural marriage and call it quits by mending fences with Meri, Janelle, or Christine.
The “Sister Wives” star made this point in front of Meri and Robyn, telling Robyn, “You want something that we can’t have together. This seems to be the end of our plural marriage.”
Robyn, who only agreed to marry Kody because of her deep connection to polygamy, was upset by Kody’s decision and broke down in tears, stating that she just “wanted to sit on the porch with my sister’s wife.”
The 45-year-old has also been trying to get Meri and Kody back together, as The Blast shared, but Meri doubled down on her decision to leave Kody’s life.
The mother-of-one revealed the unhappy events of their last anniversary, adding that their marriage broke down because they saw life differently.
“I didn’t marry Kody and make this permanent deal just to be like, ‘Mmm, it’s not working for us. I think I’ll make up,” he added of his marriage vows, which he doesn’t break easily.
