Days after introducing her new beau, Meri sat down with Amos for the latest installment of her “Fridays With Friends” Instagram session. The cute couple showed off their romance in matching black hoodies while staying close to each other as the reality TV star’s best friend, Jenn Sullivan, popped the question.
During Sullivan’s virtual interview, he asked Amos to reveal his past marriages to three women. The announcement shocked Meri, who exclaimed, “What?!” as if implying that he never knew about his lover’s ex-wife.
Despite the shocking revelation, the TLC star quickly regained her composure and assured Amos that she’s not bothered by her past relationships. “I have three ex-wives and one ex-husband. I beat you,” he spoke with all his heart.
Before meeting Amos, Meri was married to Kody Brown. Her ex-husband is now left with a wife after three of his four lovers walk out the door. Polygamous unions are at the center of the “Sister Wives” series, something the performer’s new man observes.

Then Meri jumped in to explain why her public status affected Amos, recalling that she revealed her reality TV background on the couple’s second date. In his words:
“I think this is the second time we have spoken. He was like, ‘Yeah, I’m a very private person. I was like, ‘Really?’ He was like, ‘Yeah. I’m not on social media. I am a very private person. I don’t let many people into my life.’ I was like, ‘Oh, so how private are you really?’”
Despite his initial misgivings about dating a public figure, Amos seems to have adjusted to his newfound fame and doesn’t mind hitting it off with Meri in front of fans. The pair share a sweet kiss after Sullivan tries to find the “ground” they’ve found after months of dating.
“I think first base is the only one that matters. That’s all I’m used to. I mean, there’s potential [for a homerun]. Geez, can we stop?” Meri replied before turning red in embarrassment. He also stated that his dog, Zona, gets jealous every time the pair kiss.
As for how they met, Meri admitted she contacted Amos first, saying: “I caught up with him.” This revelation makes him remember their first date and how he made her feel loved.
“The first night we went out, he hugged me, and honestly, it was the best hug ever. I just stood there and let him continue to hug me. It’s just a very, very safe hug,” she confessed, adding: “We’re happy, and we really like each other.”

The owner of Lizzie’s Heritage Inn announced her new relationship shortly after her 53rd birthday. In an Instagram post, she shared multiple images of her time with Amos, including a photo of her outdoors with her dog, Zona.
All the photos have one thing in common — the happy couple poses with Meri’s irrepressible bright smile on full display. Her newfound joy is similarly echoed throughout the post’s caption, which begins:
“Birthday #53 looks a little different for me this year, and may I say, I love the way it looks! Meet Amos, the handsome guy I’ve been dating since October!”
This revelation is shocking for a number of reasons, as it comes months after Meri ended her long-term marriage to Kody in January 2023. The couple’s romance also coincided with the same month ex-wife, Christine Brown, said her vows to her new husband, David Woolley.
Although Meri didn’t think much of the coincidence, she happily raved about Amos and their blossoming relationship. Her caption read: “He’s not 6ft 6, and not even a pilot, but he loves Christmas as much as I do, and we laugh a lot together, both are important elements in a relationship!”
